Automobiles

This is my Ford F150 Lightning. Very nice truck, drives like a dream, pass everybody except gas stations. That's what you get when you drive with a lead foot. Actually, only had two speeding tickets with it, not too bad considering what it does and I did.

Too bad that Ford never came out with the concept Lightning they showed in Detroit. That was a truck, wow. Everything pales in comparison. Now I have my eye on the Chrysler Firepower concept. That is one heck of a concept, 450 HP, a "detuned" Viper engine.

Now I am driving a Cadillac DTS, not a bad car either, except that you just don't go fast in it. Not that type of vehicle, even though the folks at Cadillac wants you to believe otherwise. It is not a good winter car, basically a one-wheel drive vehicle. Right front pulls and spins most of the time, especially in wet or snow conditions, I really would have expected from the designers to have equal lenght drive shafts. Mind you this is about my only complaint with it.

KBIS

So I work for Saniflo, this is a US subidiary with a French parent company. There is also a Canadian company that report to the same parent. I have setup both companies and they have grown into a sizable presence in North America. For about 20 year we were the only company marketing macerating toilet systems. Just recently we have seen some competition, but their product is not so good.

Back to the KBIS, this is a major trade show in the US, they show a lot of high end kitchens and designs, major appliances, showers, baths, and products. Good show, we like it. This is a "traveling" meaning that they everytime they are in an other city, Chicago, Dallas, Orlando, Las Vegas, etc.

We typically have a working display, meaning that all products shown are working, i.e. they flush and drain the waste.

My face

This is a casual photo, taken sometime 2005. I have a bunch of photos, but want to see what they look like on screen before I import them into Picassa and post on this blog.

I also have some nice pictures of a truck that I once had and a couple of cars that I like to have. Wil'll see, maybe one day.

In the Hilton Hotel Grand Vacations. Not my type of hotel, the only bar is outside at the swimming pool. No restaurant either, only some sort of a market space where you can sit (2-tables). And that in Las Vegas where is many better places to choose from.

In any case I am here for a trade show, called Kitchen and Bath show. I have to setup the show on Sunday and then see if it al works. Water, drain and power.
